The richest person in GW is probably a bot, anet loves botters.
I have seen the same group of bots going out of augury for the last 2months, so im guessing its the person who owns those :P

I don't agree that you have to be an exploiter to have a lot of ingame wealth. Those who farm SF a lot and get lucky drops can easily make hundreds of thousands off of sells in no time. A lucky FOW or UW chest drop can easily make you over 20-30 ectos. It's a matter of how you spend your time in game.

i'm pretty rich (around 290k), but i wont buy the last 2 missing fissure pieces for my main character (dont like to look like an ebayer clone)
i got the fissure armor from solo monking back in the day, my weapons from griffon runs and then there are green items on each character, of course. i didnt farm in a while and was down to around 100k before xmas. but i made some gold from ids farming.

A friend of mine has around 200k, full fissure on his mesmer, 2 piecesof fissure on his necro, 2 piecesof fissure on his monk, and is about to get fissurelegs for his warrior.

Time it took him to get the money for his full mesmer fis? 3 weeks, intense green item farming. @_@.

But not 2 man groups in very smeckzy places rake in the dough, and I'm lovin' it. <33 @ sahdowy creatures.

ya i doubt thats real, he would of had to have devoted his whole time to farming the UW whcih would be immpossible since one country never has favor for usually more then a day at most.
